Day 254 Bible Readings for September 12 – Psalm 139: 13-14 (ESV)

Isaiah 27 & 28, 2 Corinthians 12: 1-10, Psalm 139: 11-16

Psalm 139: 13-14 (ESV)

“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”

In verses 13 and 14 from Psalm 139, David tells us Father-God formed our parts and put us together in our mother’s womb. Each person is uniquely made by Father-God and “fearfully and wonderfully made.” We are all created to have a purpose by Father-God to have a part in his plan for the earth. We need to trust in Father-God’s design for our body and our lives and know that he has given us qualities are unique only to us.

We live in a world that tells us every day there is something wrong with us, and if we just buy a certain product, wear certain clothes, buy a certain car, etc., then everything will be right in our world. But the Bible tells us that we are perfect as is coming out of our mother’s womb. We were made a certain way to fit into Father-God’s plan for our lives and for the world. We need to hold on to this truth and turn off the voices of popular culture that tell us there is something wrong with us.

If you enjoyed reading my thoughts on these Bible verses, and through your faith in Jesus Christ you want a Father-God who made you for a unique purpose in life, please pray this prayer out loud:

Heavenly Father, I want to give you my Life. Forgive me of all of my sins. Wash me in your blood. I believe in my heart You raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Right now, I receive forgiveness by the blood of Jesus. I am saved, I am forgiven, I am clean, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed this prayer, welcome to the family of Father-God! Do yourself a favor and find and join a Holy Spirit filled, full Gospel, Bible-based church where you can hear the words of Father-God preached and experience signs, wonders, and miracles in your life.

Day 253 Bible Readings – Psalm 139: 1-4 (ESV)

Isaiah 24-26, 2 Corinthians 11: 16-33, Psalm 139: 1-10

Psalm 139: 1-4 (ESV)

“O Lord, you have searched me and known me! You know when I sit down and when I rise up; you discern my thoughts from afar. You search out my path and my lying down and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.”

I love verses 1 through 4 from Psalm 139. David tells us that Father-God has searched and knows him. He knows our every action, and he knows and understands our inner life and our mind. We can rely and trust on Father-God and the Holy Spirit to guide us because they know where we are going and lead us in the right direction. Father-God knows us so intimately that he knows our words before we say them.

I know there was a time in my life when I didn’t like that Father-God was intimate with me. I wanted to be independent, and I wanted to have my own privacy. I didn’t want a God who watched so closely over me like my parents. But now, I am so grateful that Father-God knows me so well that I can rely on him for guidance and advice. He knows much better than I do what I like and what I don’t like. And I know Father-God loves me and only wants the best for me. I didn’t know that for a long time because of what I was taught in the churches I attended, who told me I was a sinner who had to continually repent. Now I attend a church that emphasizes how much Father-God loves me, and how I am entitled to every promise he made to his people in the Bible. And that when I was born again, I became a new person and the old sinful me died. And most importantly, that Father-God created me and will always love me, no matter how many times I fall short. I know for a fact that can never be shaken that Father-God loves me and always has my best interests at heart.

If you enjoyed reading my thoughts on these Bible verses, and through your faith in Jesus Christ you want a Father-God who knows you inside and out and still loves you, please pray this prayer out loud:

Heavenly Father, I want to give you my Life. Forgive me of all of my sins. Wash me in your blood. I believe in my heart You raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Right now, I receive forgiveness by the blood of Jesus. I am saved, I am forgiven, I am clean, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

Rest in Peace Charlie Kirk

I wanted to pay my respects to Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, who was assassinated yesterday in Utah. Charlie was so amazing. I was fortunate that I was able to attend all his AmericaFest event in December. I went to the monthly Freedom Night in America service at Dream City Church, and I was grateful to hear him give a sermon once. I joined his wife Erika Kirk's one-year Bible Study group with its app called Biblein365.

Charlie was an aamzing patriot. At the age of 31 years old, he was an inspiration to his generation with over 800+ Turning Point USA chapters in colleges and highschools across the US.

Chartlie was a devout Christian and whiplash smart! He was simply amazing! I grieve that we lost him so soon, but I know that he is now with his savior Jesus Christ.

My deepest condolences to his wife Erica, his children, and his family and friends. America lost an amazing patriot, and I know he left an amazing legacy in his short and unbelievable life.

Day 252 Bible Readings – Psalm 138: 7 (ESV)

Isaiah 20-23, 2 Corinthians 11: 1-15, Psalm 138

Psalm 138: 7 (ESV)

“Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.”

When I first read verse 7 from Psalm 138, I thought about the more famous verse 4 from Psalm 23 (Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.) Instead of death, this verse is about trusting in the Lord when you are in trouble. David, who is believed to be the author of this psalm, tells us that Father-God saved his life when he was in trouble. David trusted in the Lord’s protection and deliverance from his life’s challenges. He implies that Father-God’s hand in our life is active, and not passive. David uses the metaphor of the Lord’s hand stretching out against his enemies, and his right hand delivering him from his enemies.

I like this verse because no one had more trouble with David, when he was on the run from King Saul who wanted to kill him. David was in dire trouble, yet he had total trust in Father-God to keep him alive. Father-God delivered David from his enemies, and we can trust He will do the same for us. We can rely on Father-God’s strength and his ability to shield us from troubles, rather than facing our problems on our own. We can trust that Father-God has an active hand in our life, and he will always protect and deliver us from life’s challenges.

If you enjoyed reading my thoughts on this Bible verse and you want to have Father-God’s protection, support, and intervention in life’s problems through your faith in Jesus Christ, please pray this prayer out loud:

Heavenly Father, I want to give you my Life. Forgive me of all of my sins. Wash me in your blood. I believe in my heart You raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Right now, I receive forgiveness by the blood of Jesus. I am saved, I am forgiven, I am clean, in Jesus’ name, Amen.
