Day 213 Bible Readings – Romans 15: 5-6 (ESV)

1 Chronicles 11, 1 Chronicles 12: 1-22, Romans 15: 1-13, Psalm 119: 25-32

Romans 15: 5-6 (ESV)

“May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

In verses 5 and 6 from Romans 15, Paul tells us that Father-God is a patience and encouragement. If we feel we are lacking in endurance and need encouragement, we need to look to our source, to our Father-God. Endurance and encouragement come from him, and he can give is to us so we can live in harmony with other people. If we try to do everything on our own, we will fail. We need to recognize that Father-God and the Holy Spirit is always there to help us with anything we want to do in our lives. Paul also tells us that we need to live in harmony with our fellow believers, so we can praise and glorify Fathe-God with one voice. We need to remember that our belief in Jesus Christ is the unifying factor in our lives and will be an example to the rest of the world of the power of transformation that is available through faith in Jesus Christ. But we are never alone in our quest to be in harmony with our fellow believers and with the world. Father-God and the Holy Spirit are always thee to guide us. The Lord is the source of patience and comfort, and if we ask it of him when we need it, he will give it to us because he is a good Father-God. I know sometimes that I feel shame because I have very little patience and that I often need encouragement. But then I remember that Father-God loves me, and he is not ashamed of me, and that he will provide me all the patience and comfort that I need in life.

If you enjoyed reading my thoughts on these Bible verses and you want to have a continual source of patience and comfort in your life  because of your faith in Jesus Christ, please pray this prayer out loud:

Heavenly Father, I want to give you my Life. Forgive me of all of my sins. Wash me in your blood. I believe in my heart You raised Jesus from the dead. I confess with my mouth Jesus is my Lord and Savior. Right now, I receive forgiveness by the blood of Jesus. I am saved, I am forgiven, I am clean, in Jesus’ name, Amen.

If you prayed that prayer, welcome to the family of Father-God! Do yourself a favor and find and join a Holy Spirit filled, full Gospel, Bible-based church where you can hear the words of Father-God preached and experience signs, wonders, and miracles in your life
