Ecclesiastes 3:11-13 (NLT)
“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end. So I concluded there is nothing better than to be happy and enjoy ourselves as long as we can. And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.”
In Ecclesiastes 3:11–13, the Teacher (traditionally understood to be Solomon) tells believers that we need to trust in the Lord's timing. Father-God created everything, but because of our human limitations, we cannot fully understand His plans from beginning to end. The Teacher reminds us to be content with the blessings and opportunities the Lord provides. Believers should find joy and fulfillment in their daily work because it is a gift from Father-God.
These verses remind me that the Lord is sovereign and has established a divine order and timing for His plans in the world. The Teacher reminds us to view our lives as a blessing from the Lord. We may have plans for our lives, but we need the guidance of the Holy Spirit so that our plans align with the Lord's will.
True satisfaction comes only when Father-God is at the center of my life. I cultivate gratitude and contentment for the work He has given me, the labor it requires, and His faithful provision. I want to live intentionally, align myself with the Lord's plans, and be content with His purpose for my life. I want everything I do to glorify the Lord and lead others to Him so they can experience the same blessings I have received.

I believe in my heart that You raised Jesus from the dead, and I confess with my mouth that Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I receive Your forgiveness and the gift of salvation. Thank You, Lord—I am saved, I am forgiven, I am clean, and I am made new in Jesus’ name. Amen.
